Pinellas Preparatory Academy assigns projects to students to keep them engaged over the summer.   Please be sure to have your summer homework ready to bring with you on the first day of school! 

• Going into 4th Grade

  • Language Arts: Read a book from the Sunshine State Readers list and keep a journal
  • Math: Complete 20 problems each month from the attached calendar
• Going into 5th Grade
  • Combined Summer Project: Complete Each Weekly Activity 
• Going into 6th Grade
  • Language Arts: Read Rules and write a summary
  • Math: Memorize the multiplication facts 2-12
• Going into 7th Grade
  • Language Arts: Holes Plot Chart
  • Math: Charts and Graphs
  • Social Studies: Play online Social Studies games and keep a record
  • Science: Research an inventor and create a brochure
• Going into 8th Grade
  • Language Arts: Read To Kill A Mockingbird and keep a journal about what you read
  • Math: How does math relate to everyday life?
  • Science: Read and take notes on the book The Ten Most Beautiful Experiments
  • Social Studies: Present a list of five
