Welcome to Pinellas Preparatory Academy! PPA started teaching students in 2002. We are proud of the students who have come through our doors and believe they are some of the most talented, creative, and bright students in Pinellas County. We are proud to spend our days with them. PPA is a school for emotionally mature students who are willing to focus on their education and put forth the energy and commitment necessary to succeed within our high standards.

We incorporate the philosophies of cooperative learning and multiple intelligences within our lessons. Students are encouraged to work together to solve problems and help each other understand the concepts covered in class. We also realize that students all learn in unique ways, and we strive to provide opportunities to experience information in various formats. Our teachers focus on creativity and providing an interdisciplinary approach to education while tying in the individual talents of our students.

PPA is a public Charter School. We work with students in grades four through eight. As a public school, there are no other requirements for admission. However, we encourage parents to evaluate what we have to offer to ensure it will be a good match for your child before applying.
