I wanted to let you all know that unfortunately because we had a very poor response to this All Pro Dad day game we are unable to get the discounted tickets unless we have at least 10 more people agree to come and purchase the tickets. If we can find at least 10 more people to come we will be getting the $19 tickets because that's what everyone requested.

Just a reminder that this Saturday May 8th from 8-10pm we're having a bowling night at Liberty Lanes in Largo. It's only $7 per person and that includes shoes and 2 hours of bowling. The first hour will be regular bowling, the second hour will be cosmic bowling. Bring your children and don't forget your cameras and come have fun! I hope to see you there.

I hope you are all doing well!!! Due to MLB spring season/regular season starting, I was unable to get a guest speaker for our group. I'll set it up for the fall when the season is over. Seeing as we have several conflicts (so many do not like getting up that early or have to go to work), I'm going to cancel our breakfast that we had planned on the 17th. Instead, we'll have cosmic bowling night on May 8th from 8pm to 10pm at Liberty Lanes. That way we can hopefully have a great turnout!!! It's about $10 per person, I'll let you know for sure when you send in your rsvp.

A Wall Street Journal editorial notes that the recent bold actions by Washington, D.C. Schools Chancellor Michelle Rhee, who negotiated a groundbreaking union contract and then fired 241 low-performing teachers, or 6 percent of the total, could only have been achieved in a reform climate shaped largely by charter schools.
