We need your input!  This year PPA began Parent Night, a monthly informative evening where topics (suggested by PPA Parents) were covered by experts in their fields.  In order to help us with planning the remaining few months of school and to start looking at next year, we need your input! Please take a moment to comlete the survey below to provide us with your feedback.  Thanks in advance! 

We are in need of donations of about 1,126 healthy snacks by March 9. Each morning of the FCAT, we give students a healthy snack before sending them back to their room to begin the FCAT testing. We would rather they focus on the test then on an empty stomach, and it is a bit of time for kids to relax before taking the test. If you could make a donation, please drop them off at PPA by March 5. Snacks could include individual packages of pretzels, granola bars, peanuts, etc. We also could use apple juice, orange juice, etc. along with small individual sized cups (i.e. Dixie cups). And finally, we could also use help from 8:00 – 8:45 on March 9 through the 11to distribute the snacks.   Please contact the office if you have any questions. Please remember that Student Led Conferences are scheduled for Tuesday, March 2, 2010.  This is an opportunity for your child to explain why they have received the grades they have received on this progress report.  Additionally, teachers are available for general questions or to schedule a personal conference.  Following the conferences, at 7:30, the PPA Board of Directors will be meeting if you would like to stay to learn more about the operations of the board.  We will be looking for new Board Members next year, so this would be a great opportunity for you to see the types of conversations the board has!

We had a Parent Night at PPA scheduled for this evening (February 22). However, due to an extremely low number of RSVP's, the parent meeting has been canceled.  We believe the topic of internet and cell phone safety is an important one, so we will try to reschedule the topic for another event.  If you have any questions, please contact the office. 

It's once again time for our monthly PPA Parent Night.  This month's topic will be Digital Safety, ranging from internet safety to cell phone service available to parents.  Please complete the RSVP below if you plan to attend so that we can plan accordingly.  As always, dinner will be served at 6:30 by Seminole Family Restaurant for a recommended donation of $7 per person.  The presentation will begin at 7:00.  We hope to see you there.
