Welcome to PPA's Moodle Site!
In case you are asking "What is Moodle," let me explain. Moodle is an online learning platform. You may have heard of "Blackboard" which is a commercial product that many universities use for online learning, well Moodle is very similar, except that it is "open source" (which means we can use it for free). It is a very powerful platform where we could conduct entire classes online!
We are all still learning how to use this system, and you will see more and more teachers begin to post information and resources within this system. In order to see anything, you do need to login. Your students have been assigned a username and a password, and they have been sent home with your students. If you need your username/password again, please call the office or email your child's teacher.
We currently have our math textbooks, Spanish textbook, and a few other resources available on this system. We look forward to expanding our use of this online platform over the coming months!
Pinellas Preparatory Academy is constantly striving to provide the most innovative educational program possible. This Moodle site is the next step in our online options for students and staff. This system will allow us to electronically deliver content online to students.
