Please help spread the word throughout your school community that the district’s Office of Strategic Partnerships will be sponsoring a series of workshops beginning Thursday, Feb. 4, to help parents prepare their children for the FCAT.

The seven workshops – two in south Pinellas and five in north Pinellas – will include general information about the test; teacher-led breakout sessions specifically designed for elementary, middle and high school students; and a question-and-answer session. Refreshments will be served. The workshops will run through Feb. 25.

For more information, contact Dexter McCree, family & community involvement coordinator, (727) 588-6000, ext. 1846.
