Taxonomy upgrade extras:
In order to make our Silent Auction a huge success, we are asking that each class collect items that will be used to make baskets. We are sending this letter in advance in order to give parents time to collect the donations. We have assigned classrooms/grades a theme. If you choose to not want to purchase an item but would like to make a monetary donation, please do so in the form a gift card ( when sending in the gift card please put the students name, homeroom and PTEG on the envelope so that we may keep track. Classrooms that are able to collect a full box of items will receive 4 game tickets for each student in that classroom. I am including a list of the themes for the baskets and examples of items we are looking for. All donations should be turned in by February 19th, boxes will be place in each classroom beginning January 15.
4th Grade— Arts and Crafts (paints, markers, crayons, small art projects, construction paper)
5th Grade—Puzzles and Games (board game, puzzles, puzzles books)
6th Grade—
Pizzo/Smith—A Day at the Beach (towels, buckets, shovels)
McGrath/Clapper—Sports (balls for any sports, sports hats, anything pertaining to sports)
7th Grade -
Crosa/Beswick—Spa Day (lotions, bath soaps, donations from salons for treatments)
Gowan-Smith/Mulkey—Cooking (cookbooks, cooking utensils, etc.)
8th Grade -
Mourer/Barber—Movies (movie passes, DVDs, popcorn)
Mizzi/Engels—Electronics (hand held games, earphones, etc)
For those parents that had offered gift certificates to hair salons, spas, restaurants etc. Please let me know if you are still able to do this ( email ndickman@tampasportsauthority.com or 727-519-8317)
