The Great American Teach-In is an opportunities for students to learn about many special interests, careers, and a variety of information outside of their normal curriculum. For parents and community members, it offers the opportunity to come into the school for a day and share your career, hobbies, or interests with students.
It is always a great day with such a variety of speakers and topics. With 18 classes of students, and six periods for each class, we have 186 slots to fill. We need a lot of volunteers to come in and share with our students! If you are interested you can contact:
- 4th & 5th Grade Classrooms: AnnMarie Blassingame
- 6th - 8th Grade Classrooms: Nicole Dickman or Pam Biagini
- Or call the school's office at 727-536-3600
Our schedule for speakers is posted online, so you can find a slot that will work for your time schedule, to view the schedule click here.
