Hope you all have had a great summer!
Again this year, we will be offering our hot lunches. In order to make this program work and give our students the hot lunch they deserve, we really need your help! If you have time, anyday of the week from 10:40 until 1:00, we could certainly use your help in picking up lunches from Frontier Elementary to our school and also to help serve. Our plan is to have enough volunteers so that you can work every other week if needed. If you can not pick up the lunches, serving will help us out too. The time for serving would be from 11:30 - 1:15.
Miss Huneke's Class is having Volunteer FRIDAYS from 11:50 - 2:15. Parents will be in small groups for Math. Please e-mail pbiagini@pinellasprep.org or contact Ms. Huneke and let us know if you are available.
Please remember that to volunteer you need to have the volunteer forms turned in to the office along with a copy of your drivers license. If you are chaperoning a field trip, it takes 2 weeks for your forms to clear so be aware of this so you won't disappoint your student by not getting this process done in time.
We ask that you put in 20 hours of volunteer work for the school year. This can easily be accomplished with all that is available to parents at PPA. When parents have a presence at school it is statically shown that students are higher achievers.
